I’m Glad You’re Here

Hi! My name is Becca. When I started my journey into birthwork one of my first assignments was, “What is your identity?” What kind of question is that? I have been asking myself this daily since starting that assignment. Who is Becca? Well, for starters I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful daughters. I love cats, witchy things, Disney and I am a Florida native. Some other identifiers that are important are I am queer, I am an advocate, and I am a woman. I support all genders, all colors and all religions, I strive to be all inclusive but recognize that I am not for everyone and that’s okay!

My why. When I had my oldest I struggled with bodyfeeding, sleep and postpartum anxiety. Even though I have a loving partner and great friends I was still struggling and clueless as to what was going on. Eventually I found help, saw an IBCLC and talked to my primary doctor about my PPA. Fast-forward to second baby on her way I felt more prepared but STILL ended up falling short in many areas. After talking to more and more new parents I decided that it could be ME that helped guide new families into their roles. Let me help you through fertility, teach you through pregnancy, advocate for you during delivery and hold you during postpartum. Let me be your sister.
